According to the article “HowAmerican Chinese Food Came To Be”, the Chinese food in most of people’s minds is a lot different than authentic Chinese food you get in any Chinese American communities today. People who came from different areas of China make the Chinese foods cater local test.





There are many Asian restaurants in New York City that have been nominated to receive the Michelin Award for 2013. The “REUTERS” reports that 13 percept of Asian restaurant in the Big Apple have be given starts by Michelin. One of the Asian restaurants receives the highest ranking of three starts. Two of the restaurants have two starts, and 15 restaurants have one start.   






Asian food festivals have become one of the most popular events of the year on the East Coast. According to the article, there are lots of famous chefs who join this event: Daniel Boulud, chef owner of the three stars Daniel in New York City, David Chang, chef owner of the Momofuku Restaurant Group, and Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. The success of this event led to other events in cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles. There are even talks about possible food festivals in Miami and San Francisco next year. The ticket price for the event ranges from $50 to $250.
